Although the weather wasn’t very great we still managed to have a lot of bug activity around the trap. (:

Over the weekend there was wind and a little bit of snow. This could have been the reason why our trap fell over. All of the pegs were ripped out of the ground and the whole trap fell down. We were lucky that we took the collection vessel out over the weekend!

I teach grade 5 in Saskatchewan and below you will find how I am integrating this project with our curriculum. My students will be blogging each day, among other forms of communication to share our experience. Today we talked about the various student roles in our scenario. Students chose their role today and we will begin the adventure tomorrow!
It is snowing and raining here. Disappointing. We are going to make plans about how to inform our school and community about the program.
