On Monday night we had very heavy winds and the trap blew down. Thankfully, we tied one of the guy lines to a large log so we didn’t lose the tent. The catch bottle became detached from the top bottle, however, we neglected to remove the inner seal so we didn’t lose anything as the small flies were trapped in the top bottle. We have had rain for the rest of the week so there hasn’t been much insect activity but the student’s are still eager to check the trap.<\/p>\n
