The weather was humid and the visibility was low; there was a thin fog in our area. Detailed information about the weather today can be seen below.<\/p>\n<p>It is currently 12<span style=\"font-family: Liberation Serif,serif;\">\u00ba<\/span><span style=\"font-family: Liberation Serif,serif;\">C at 1100hrs<br \/>\nWind: N 1km\/h<br \/>\nHumidity: 95%<br \/>\nPressure: 102.6 kPa<br \/>\nVisibility: 8.0 km<br \/>\nCeiling: 2300 feet (Very Low)<br \/>\nEstimated precipitation over next 36 hours: 5-10mm<\/span><\/p>\n<p>The current weather is overcast with occasional showers. The sky, as viewed from our classroom, is currently completely covered by clouds.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/en.wikipedia.org\/wiki\/Coquitlam#Climate\" target=\"_blank\">Coquitlam Climate &#8211; Wikipedia<\/a><\/p>\n<p><strong>Geography\/Nearby ecosystems<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>The climate in Port Coquitlam is a maritime temperate climate, which is characterized by frequent precipitation and mild temperatures. It rained periodically during our process of setting up the malaise trap.<\/p>\n<p>There are two rivers near our school, which are the Pitt River and the <a href=\"http:\/\/en.wikipedia.org\/wiki\/Fraser_River\" target=\"_blank\">Fraser River<\/a>, with the former being the closest.
